Location:

Hybrid | Baltimore, Maryland-based (minimum 2 days/week in-office, 4 hours/day)

Position Summary:

ACEE Global is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant to support our Career Services and student events. This hybrid role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about helping international students succeed, especially those from Chinese-speaking backgrounds. The assistant will help coordinate career support offerings and assist with student-centered programming under our BRIDGE suite—including networking events, workshops, and cultural activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with career services: resume and cover letter reviews, LinkedIn setup, job search guidance

  • Coordinate logistics and provide staffing for student events and BRIDGE suite programs

  • Communicate with international students, especially Chinese-speaking students, to provide culturally attuned support

  • Maintain career appointment records and student engagement data

  • Assist with developing and distributing event materials and promotional content

  • Manage scheduling, registration forms, and email outreach

  • Support in-office tasks 2 days per week (4 hours each day) and attend virtual/in-person events as needed

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)

  • Familiarity with career development concepts, such as resume and cover letter formatting, LinkedIn profile optimization, and job search strategy

  • Bachelor’s degree or active enrollment in a related field (Education, Counseling, International Studies, etc.)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Workspace, Canva, Zoom, etc.

  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and experience supporting diverse communities

  • Must be based in Maryland and able to be on-site a minimum of 2 days per week

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in student support and higher education

  • Experience planning events or student programs

  • Familiarity with international student experiences and needs

  • Multilingual skills beyond Chinese are a plus

Compensation:

Part-time hourly position | $18–$24/hour depending on experience
15-20 hours/week, including 8 in-office hours
